Subject Line: DRAFT FY20 APS Ethiopia
Dear FACG Colleagues:
Please find attached the Draft Fiscal Year 2020 (FY 2020) Annual Program Statement (APS) for Ethiopia for review and comment. The Office of Food for Peace (FFP) is not requesting the submission of applications at this time. All background and programmatic information can be found directly within the APS and referenced attachments.
As the FY 2020 APS for Ethiopia is currently in draft and subject to change, USAID reserves the right to adjust the number of awards, funding levels, and sources of funding.
In light of the global COVID-19 pandemic, USAID/FFP recognizes the related difficulties that applicants may face. As part of this review and comment process, USAID/FFP is also interested in receiving information on the challenges that may affect APS preparation and suggestions for mitigating these challenges.
Additionally, USAID/FFP plans to convene a virtual Ethiopia APS solicitation briefing, while the APS is in the draft stage, that will be open to the public. The exact date for this briefing will be communicated at a later date.
Please note that no USAID/FFP officers nor field representatives should be contacted about information contained in the draft APS materials. As stated in the draft APS, all comments and inquiries should be directed via email to FY20JEOP_APSEthiopia@usaid.gov.
Comments on the draft FY 2020 Ethiopia APS are due on May 22, 2020 at 12:00 pm (Eastern Daylight Time). However, please do not wait until the last day to submit your consolidated comments and inquiries.
Regards, USAID’s Office of Food for Peace
