1. BACKGROUND

Radar Product Division, AJW-L-2090, currently provides logistics support to 135 operational Airport Surface Radar Model 9 (ASR-9) sites. This generic low noise transistor is a sub-component of the Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) which resides in the microwave section of the ASR-9.

This Statement of Work describes the pre-installation screening of these low noise transistors.

2. CONTRACTING OFFICER’S REPRESENTATIVE (COR):

The COR is formally designated this responsibility by the Contracting Officer to provide direction and Government oversight to the contractor on matters related to this contract. The COR is:

4. REQUIREMENTS

4.1 Testing

The contractor shall test the transistors P/N AT-8250 in accordance with (IAW) Source Control Drawing (SCD) 645A529 (see attachment SCD 645A). In meeting requirements outlined in SCD 645A529, the transistors shall be divided into two (2) separate batch numbers, H01 and H03, dependent on sheets seven (7) and eight (8) of SCD 645A529.

4.2 First Article Delivery

Contractor must deliver twenty (20) first article units with complete test data package illustrating conformance to SCD 645A529 and test procedures therein. Delivery shall occur no later than (NLT) 180 days at receipt of order (ARO).

4.3 First Article Test

First article units shall conform to requirements in SCD 645A529 (mechanical, workmanship, finish, marking) and successfully pass in-system test. In-system test shall consist of installing the transistors into an operational Low Noise Amplifier (next higher assembly), performing LNA calibration and bench test, and installing LNA into an operational ASR-9 system for final calibration and testing. FAA will have 60 days to accept or reject first article.

4.4 Production Units

The FAA may qualify one or more vendors as an approved source of production units upon successful FAT acceptance. Delivery of production units shall occur NLT 90 days ARO
