About this file
This is a Qualification Requirements document for a narrowband WFG (part number 124K707G01, National Stock Number 5998-01-554-8049) dated January 12, 2021. The document establishes source qualification standards for this aviation part, distinguishing between requirements established prior to and after October 19, 1984.
For qualifications established prior to October 19, 1984, Section F.1 indicates that prequalification of sources is essential to maintain high quality and maximum operational safety, with FAR 9.206-1(a)(2) applying. Section F.2 requires that only actual manufacturers who have successfully completed all testing required by the original design company can be considered approved sources, though alternative options exist allowing manufacturers with testing on government-determined similar complexity items or those with Category III capability. Section F.3 applies FAR 9.206-1 and -2 provisions with AFMCFARS notes A and B. For qualifications established after October 19, 1984, a Justification for Qualification Requirement (JQR) is required. The post-1984 requirements largely mirror the earlier standards under Section F.1, F.2, and F.3, with AFMCFARS notes A and D applying instead. The document was evaluated and digitally signed by ANGLE.ELDON.D.1217647262 with the symbol GUEAB.
