About this file
This Scope of Work (SOW) details a project for the U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters to replace acoustical fabric wall treatments in a 3-room conference center located in Washington, DC. The project requires furnishing and installing new AcoustiWall Fabric Stretch System across approximately 1,452 square feet of existing fabric-stretch wall surfaces. The installation is estimated to take 4-8 standard working days, with the contractor requiring full access to the installation areas during scheduled workdays.
Key contractor responsibilities include one-time mobilization, providing necessary height tools for installation, and creating layout drawings. The SOW explicitly excludes certain tasks such as furniture removal, handling wall-mounted obstructions (light switches, receptacles, strobes, TVs), and any electrical or wall modification work. Work will commence after formal acceptance of the SOW and issuance of a purchase order. The project aims to maintain a clean, professional appearance consistent with Coast Guard standards for their mission-critical meeting spaces.
