1.3 All surfaces to be painted shall be properly prepared, (i.e., cleaned, sanded, feathered, puttied, primed, etc.) as necessary. Surface preparations will include the repair of damage to walls and ceilings, (i.e., splits, cracks, nail holes, chips, indentations, and holes less than eight inches in diameter). Damage greater than two inches in size shall be repaired by means of wall board plug with backer, taped, mudded, filled, sanded, and smooth; all other damaged areas will be repaired with wall mud as needed. All surfaces shall be free of dirt, grease, loose debris, and any other foreign matter that would adversely affect the appearance.

1.8 Spraying paint to surfaces is not allowed except for baseboard heat covers and trim pieces.

1.9 After painting is completed, the POC needs to be notified to inspect and approve work before any items are reinstalled.
