This Invitation for Bids (IFB SP-2026-0030) is issued by the Superior Court of California, County of Calaveras for armored car services. The Court seeks a qualified, licensed armored car service provider to securely pick up, transport, and deliver the Court's deposits and other valuables between the Court located at 400 Government Center Drive, San Andreas, California and its designated financial depository. The services must include chain-of-custody procedures, signed receipts for all containers, handling of currency, coins, checks, money orders, and other negotiable instruments, and direct transportation to the consignee without unauthorized stops or transfers. Additional services available upon request include non-scheduled pickups, holiday service, optional excess liability coverage, and records research. The IFB timeline includes key dates for question submissions, bid due dates, bid evaluations, notice of intent to award, and expected deliverable dates all listed as November 2026, with exact dates posted on Bonfire (the Court's online procurement platform). All bids must be submitted electronically through https://lacourt.bonfirehub.com/ and late submissions will not be accepted.
Pricing must be all-inclusive excluding sales tax, and vendors must submit bids on specified line items including monthly fees for scheduled service, per-minute charges for on-premises time beyond standard allotted time, per-item charges for containers above per-shipment thresholds, per-trip charges for non-scheduled and holiday service, rates for optional excess liability coverage, hourly rates for records research, and any other surcharges with calculation methods stated. The contractor must maintain comprehensive insurance coverage including cargo liability, commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation insurance meeting Court requirements, with certificates of insurance required before service begins. A Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) preference incentive is available, providing a 3 percent increase to the final evaluation score for qualified proposers. Vendors must disclose any use of Generative Artificial Intelligence in their services or deliverables, with failure to disclose potentially resulting in disqualification. Proposals are valid for 90 days, and the Court reserves the right to award multiple contracts to different vendors with no minimum procurement obligation.
