About this file

This is a Scope of Work document for Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), a transit agency serving thirteen member cities in Texas, outlining pool maintenance and repair services required for properties under DART ownership, including a single-family residence located in Dallas. DART seeks qualified firms to provide comprehensive pool maintenance services twice per month, which includes equipment inspections, vacuuming, surface skimming, brushing, debris removal, basket cleaning, and water chemistry testing and adjustment for chlorine, salt, pH, alkalinity, calcium, and cyanuric acid levels. Additional filter backwashing and cleaning services are required three times annually. The contract operates as a blanket purchase order with the ability to add or delete service locations as necessary. Specific water chemistry parameters are defined: pH levels between 7.2 and 7.8, alkalinity between 80–120 parts per million, chlorine minimum of 1 part per million, and bromine concentration at 3 parts per million. Technicians must immediately notify DART contacts of any equipment or pool issues and obtain written authorization before performing repairs, with quotes required for approval prior to work commencement.

Awards are based on the lowest responsive bid meeting all requirements specified in the Scope of Work, with DART reserving termination rights if delivery times and rates are not met as specified. Payment terms are Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing purchase order numbers, item numbers, descriptions, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment is rendered thirty days from invoice receipt or order receipt, whichever is later, unless alternative terms are agreed upon in writing. All purchase orders are subject to DART's standard Terms and Conditions, and the contracting officer maintains the right to terminate for default. Bonfire registration is required to submit a bid for this opportunity.
