The City seeks qualified vendors to supply one 40-foot standard height, one-trip shipping container office with an integrated restroom that will replace an existing mobile office currently located at the wastewater discharge site. The unit must be delivered to 3288 Yuma Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76106 during normal business hours (7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday) and shall be ready for utility connection upon arrival. The specifications include detailed requirements for doors and windows (minimum one 36-inch steel entry door with deadbolt and security bar; four windows with security bars), electrical systems (100-amp service panel, LED or fluorescent lighting, 110V outlets, and 50 AMP generator inlet), HVAC (15,000-18,500 BTU air conditioning unit with heat), interior finishes (plywood or vinyl flooring, spray foam insulation), a complete restroom with toilet, vanity, sink, and tankless water heater, and exterior utility connections for water, drain, and vent. Vendors must submit dimensioned floor plans, interior layout drawings, photographs or renderings of similar units, and specifications for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. The contract term commences upon execution and concludes upon final delivery, inspection, acceptance, and payment. The vendor must notify the City of any anticipated delays and provide a revised schedule for approval; failure to meet the agreed delivery timeline may constitute a breach of contract unless caused by factors beyond the vendor's control and approved in writing by the City.
Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid price is reasonable and in the best interest of the City. A responsive bidder must submit a completed quote packet within the stated deadline in accordance with specifications, while a responsible bidder must demonstrate the ability to successfully deliver the requested equipment. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part and to reject bids from vendors who have previously failed to perform properly or complete similar agreements on time. Pricing must be firm and fixed for the contract duration, including all costs for materials, labor, fabrication, delivery, and associated fees, with no price increases permitted after contract execution unless a material change in scope is initiated by the City and formally approved in writing. All successful bidders must register for direct deposit payments prior to providing goods and services. Payment terms are Net 30 Days unless otherwise specified in the bid and agreed upon by the City. Invoices must be submitted electronically to the City's centralized Accounts Payable department. The solicitation is subject to the City's Small Business Program under Ordinance No. 27832-08-2025, Chapter 21 of the Code of the City of Fort Worth. Vendors must submit completed RFQt-01 forms, a completed bid table, and Small Business Enterprise Certificates if applicable.
