About this file
This product specification document outlines the requirements for electric micro slim slab scissor lifts for Milwaukee County Mitchell International Airport (5300 S. Howell Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin). The procurement calls for three new units suitable for indoor and outdoor use in restricted spaces and building interiors, with the capability to pass through standard commercial doorways. The specification is performance-based and non-proprietary, allowing equivalent products from any manufacturer that meets or exceeds all stated requirements. Bidders must submit descriptive literature and technical data demonstrating conformance to minimum specifications, with the Owner reserving the right to determine equivalency. No specific response dates, site visits, bidders' meetings, award dates, or contract term information is provided in this specification document.
The specification establishes detailed performance and dimensional requirements, including a minimum platform capacity of 800 pounds, minimum indoor working height of 25.7 feet, stowed height not exceeding 78.7 inches, and maximum machine weight of approximately 3,640 pounds. Units must feature electric drive systems with proportional controls, maintenance-free AGM-type batteries with approximately 210 Ah capacity, and onboard automatic chargers. Safety requirements include compliance with ANSI and CSA standards for mobile elevating work platforms, emergency stop controls at both upper and lower stations, automatic parking brakes, descent alarms, hydraulic leak containment systems, visual warning devices with laser perimeter lighting, and motion alarms. Warranty requirements mandate a minimum one-year warranty on defective components and five-year warranty on structural components. All units shall be delivered FOB destination to the Milwaukee location, fully assembled and ready for operation, with complete operator and service manuals, warranty registration information, and all control devices included.
