About this file

This document is a delivery schedule requirement for dairy products to be supplied to the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Manchester Food Service Department. The period of performance spans July 1, 2026, through September 30, 2026, with weekly deliveries required between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm EST. Deliveries are not permitted on federal holidays. The quantities listed in the solicitation represent estimated maximums for the quarter, and weekly ordering will be coordinated through local food services administration, with authorized ordering contacts identified at the time of award. Prior to each delivery, contractors must contact the Food Service Warehouse for approval or scheduling adjustments.

All deliveries must be palletized and meet strict temperature and specification requirements: non-frozen perishable foods must arrive between 34°F and 41°F; canned goods above 34°F and not frozen; and frozen foods at 0°F or below with no evidence of prior thawing. Certified religious diet items must be marked with the Kosher Symbol on individual packages or will be refused. The Government reserves the right to conditionally receive items for up to three days for examination and testing, with some items requiring thawing and cooking for compliance verification. Nonconforming items may be repaired or replaced at no increase in contract price, and conditionally received items found unacceptable must be picked up by the vendor within two weeks at the vendor's expense or will be disposed of by warehouse staff. Contractor failure to meet delivery schedules without excusable delay or to conform to specifications will negatively impact past performance ratings and may result in findings of non-responsibility for future awards.
