About this file

This document is a Quote Form for a Request for Quotation (RFQ Q26049) issued by the Cobb County School District (CCSD) in Georgia, seeking vendors to provide a comprehensive contract for school bus fire suppression system services. The solicitation covers annual inspection and certification, service and repair, parts procurement, system replacement, and additional services for two specific fire suppression system brands: Amerex and Kidde. The contract will enable CCSD to obtain professional maintenance, inspection, repair, and replacement services for fire suppression systems installed on school buses, with options for both normal business hours and after-hours/overtime work.

The quote form provides a detailed pricing structure across multiple service categories, including annual inspections (at standard and overtime rates), hourly service/repair rates, parts discount percentages, system replacement fees, and additional services like canister refilling and system recharging. Vendors are also required to specify their definition of normal business hours, after-hours periods, and emergency service call parameters. The document includes a flexible provision allowing vendors to propose pricing for unanticipated items or services not explicitly outlined in the original solicitation, demonstrating the district's intent to create a comprehensive and adaptable service contract.
