About this file
This document is a State of Texas Required Statements form from Williamson County that mandates specific certifications for companies seeking to do business with the county. The form requires companies to certify that they do not and will not boycott Israel, boycott energy companies, or have policies that discriminate against firearm entities or trade associations during the contract term.
The form provides exemptions for contractors who are sole proprietors, have fewer than 10 full-time employees, or are involved in contracts valued under $100,000. Companies must either affirm compliance with all three "anti-boycott" clauses or specify why the clauses do not apply to their organization. This requirement is part of Texas state law, specifically referencing Texas Government Code sections 2271.001 and 2274.002, and is designed to ensure that county business is conducted only with companies that meet certain political and economic criteria.
