About this file

This is a Solicitation Subcontractors List document prepared by the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) Procurement Team for Requisition/Contract No. REQ-0003276, titled "Crane Maintenance, Repair and Inspection Services." The document is effective as of July 1, 2024, and serves as the official form vendors must use to identify all subcontractors they intend to engage for the performance of work. The services cover crane maintenance, repair, and inspection activities across multiple GLWA facilities including the Water Reclamation Resource Facility (WRRF), Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Basins, Water Treatment Plants, and Pumping Stations located in Michigan. Vendors are required to nominate subcontractors by specialty trade and classification of work, or indicate their intention to self-perform designated work classifications. The document contains a table with 15 numbered rows for listing subcontractors, along with required fields for license numbers, classifications, and employer identification numbers (Federal I.D. or State registration).

Vendors must provide complete licensing information for each nominated subcontractor and clearly identify the work scope each subcontractor will perform. The vendor may not remove, replace, or add nominated subcontractors except for good cause as determined solely by GLWA. Failure to properly identify nominated subcontractors or to clarify omissions and ambiguities in the subcontractor list may result in the vendor's response being deemed non-conforming with solicitation requirements. The document requires authorization by a firm's authorized signatory and establishes that the subcontractor listing requirement does not create any express or implied duty or obligation to vendors or nominated subcontractors by GLWA.

Solicitation Subcontractor List

List of Subcontractors

Requisition/Contract No.: REQ-0003276 Contract Title: Crane Maintenance, Repair and Inspection Services

This list of Subcontractors shall be used by the vendor to list, by specialty trade and classification of Work, all Subcontractors to enable the GLWA to evaluate the vendor's qualifications to perform the Work.

The vendor shall nominate all Subcontractors to whom the vendor intends to award a Sub-agreement. For each nominated Subcontractor, the vendor shall: (a) provide the required licensing information, and (b) enter the Subcontractor's employer number (Federal I.D. or State registration) in the designated spaces. If the vendor intends to self-perform a classification of Work for which a specialty contractor license is required, the vendor shall nominate itself in the spaces designated for that purpose and shall furnish the vendor’s license number(s) for that classification.

Failure by the vendor to identify a nominated Subcontractor or nominate the vendor itself may render its response as not conforming in all material respects with the requirements of the solicitation documents at GLWA's sole discretion. The requirement to make a definite nomination of Subcontractors or to state that the vendor intends to self-perform that trade or classification of Work, and to clarify any omissions or ambiguities in the List of Subcontractors, applies to the vendor and any firm wishing to remain under consideration for the award.

The vendor hereby agrees not to remove, replace or add a nominated Subcontractor except for good cause shown as determined solely by GLWA. This listing requirement is not intended to create any express or implied duty or obligation to the vendor or the nominated Subcontractors by the GLWA. Use Table 1 below to list the subcontractor and work to be performed.
