Questions and Answers
285-23-RFQ-0004
1. Will there be any scenario where overtime would be required?
No
1. Is there a current incumbent and if so who is that incumbent?
This is no incumbent, this is a new requirement
1. Does the contract allow for the billing of time spent traveling to a site?
No
1. Does the contract allow for the billing of milage or gas for the vehicle?
No
1. Section B1 (Price Schedule) indicates that 832 Hours are expected to be performed during each year of the contract, which would reconcile with one officer being needed only two days per week (assuming an Eight (8) hour workday and services are required every week). However, Section C1 of the SOW indicates that THREE guards will be needed, which if required each week would total 2496 Hours per year. Can you please provide some more insight as to how often service will be required, and if you know whether the two days per week are consecutive, so I can best prepare my price schedule.
There needs to be 3 guards, 2 days per week at 832 Hours per Guard.
1. Will the THREE guards be working together at the same location, or does the Mid Atlantic Service Unit (MASU) have more than one mobile clinic which would require the guards to be in multiple locations simultaneously, and thus require me to provide each with a separate marked patrol car?
Guards will not be working at the same locations and each will need transportation
