About this file
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) document from the Georgia Utilities Department soliciting professional janitorial services for five locations in the Augusta area, with services commencing January 1, 2027. The scope includes cleaning services at the Construction and Maintenance Offices (3,000 sq. ft., five days per week after 5 p.m.), the Construction and Maintenance Locate Building and Warehouse offices (1,300 sq. ft., five days per week after 5 p.m.), the Facilities and Maintenance Common Areas (3,742 sq. ft., two days per week on Tuesday and Thursday between 1-5 p.m.), the Fort Eisenhower Offices Building (3,800 sq. ft., five days per week after 5 p.m.), and the Fort Eisenhower Water Plant (1,000 sq. ft., two days per week after 5 p.m.). All locations are situated in Augusta, Georgia. Awards will be made by individual location, allowing bidders to propose for multiple sites. The RFP specifies that Fort Eisenhower services require vendors to comply with additional security policies and procedures established by the military installation.
The document does not specify pricing structures, response deadlines, site visit schedules, or formal bidder conference dates within the available information. Bidders are expected to understand that Fort Eisenhower locations impose heightened security requirements beyond standard commercial janitorial operations. The contract term and renewal options, specific evaluation criteria, and funding sources are not detailed in this summary excerpt. Interested vendors should refer to the complete RFP document for comprehensive instructions on proposal submission, pricing requirements, technical specifications, and any additional compliance mandates.
