About this file

This is Addendum No. 1 to a competitive sealed bid solicitation issued by the City of Albany, Georgia, for Polymer Flocculants to supply the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant. The contract is for a one-year firm price with two optional one-year renewal terms. The City has installed three 3,000-gallon bulk tanks (9,000 gallons total capacity) and anticipates annual consumption of 150,000 pounds. Typical orders include approximately 10 totes and bulk shipments of approximately 45,000 pounds, with no minimum order requirements. The preferred lead time between order and delivery is two weeks. The pre-bid testing date has been clarified as Wednesday, October 21, 2026, and bid opening is scheduled for October 28, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum with their submittal.

Payment will be based on actual pounds ordered and received at the applicable firm unit price, rather than the lump sum or periodic estimates referenced in the original contract documents. The anticipated annual quantity of 150,000 pounds serves as an evaluation metric for pricing purposes. All other terms and conditions of the original bid documents remain unchanged.
