About this file
This is a Purchase Description document for the Air Force Primary Standards Lab (AFPSL) procurement of Load Cells Exchange Kits, dated 6 January 2026 (Revision 1), document number 26M-630A-FO.
The procurement covers additional Tovey Engineering load cells, digital indicators, adapters, and travel cases to replenish the current exchange pool that was originally procured under contract FA2263-11-C-0002. The contractor must deliver 15 specific Tovey products including CS Series load cells (CS10-2.5K-B300, CS10-10K-B300, CS20-30K-B300, CS20-60K-B300), the 9150-2-300 digital indicator, and eight adapter and cable components (part numbers 2133-0007-02, 2133-0009-02, 2133-0008, 2133-0010, 210506, 2133-0012, TC-10-300, TC-20-30K-300, TC-20-60K-300, and TC-Inst-300). All delivered items must be compatible with each other and with the Tovey Engineering C3-100 Vertical Force Press, and the system must maintain measurement uncertainty not exceeding 0.025% of reading. Each load cell requires an integrated 6-wire, 10-foot cable, and all items must be provided with simple storage boxes suitable for shelf or cabinet storage. The contractor must provide a standard 1-year warranty on all load cells and indicators. Acceptance testing will be performed at a destination specified elsewhere in the contract using test equipment with first-echelon certification traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) or other AFMETCAL-approved sources, though the contractor retains responsibility for all fabrication inspections and quality control checks.
