About this file
This document is an Amendment (Amendment 3) issued by the State of Alaska's Department of Environmental Conservation Village Safe Water Program for Invitation to Bid (ITB) 26-VSW-UNK-004, which concerns the Covenant Lift Station Project. The ITB is scheduled to be due on August 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM AST, and this amendment addresses a specific vendor question regarding soil erosion control requirements. The amendment modifies Section 01 57 13 of the project specifications, shifting responsibility to the contractor for obtaining construction-related permits, performing notifications and inspections, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including specific Alaska Administrative Code (18 AAC 75) and Alaska Statutes (Title 46).
The amendment does not provide specific details about project costs, funding sources, or contract value. The primary focus is on clarifying the contractor's responsibilities for environmental compliance, specifically related to construction discharges, permit acquisition, and regulatory adherence. The document is signed by John McDonald, a Procurement Specialist, and is part of the procurement process for what appears to be a village infrastructure project involving a lift station.
