About this file
This is a Hazardous Waste Removal Cost Worksheet for the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Program Support Division, Facilities Management Area located at the Richmond Campus, prepared for Invitation For Bid (IFB) 26-10385. The worksheet outlines the scope of hazardous waste removal services required, including the packaging, labeling, transportation, and proper disposal or recycling of the Department's hazardous waste materials. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, equipment, transportation, and materials such as drums, packing materials, and labels. Additionally, the contractor is required to provide immediate local response capabilities for hazardous waste emergencies as deemed necessary by the CDPH Project Representative. The bid process is structured to award a single contract to the most responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest cost.
The cost worksheet serves as the pricing mechanism for bidders to submit their proposed costs for the hazardous waste removal services. This document enables standardized cost comparison across all qualified bidders and ensures transparency in the competitive bidding process. Bidders are required to complete the worksheet with their itemized costs, labor rates, equipment charges, transportation fees, and disposal or recycling costs to provide CDPH with comprehensive pricing information for evaluation and contract award determination.
