About this file
This is a Cost Worksheet for Invitation for Bid (IFB) 25-10054 issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for fire alarm and sprinkler system maintenance services. The procurement requests pricing for maintenance and certification services across two equipment manufacturers: Siemens and Edwards Fire Life Safety systems. Services include quarterly sprinkler maintenance (12 services annually), semi-annual fire alarm maintenance (6 services annually), annual sprinkler maintenance (3 services annually), and 5-year sprinkler certification (1 service over the contract period). Bidders are required to provide unit rates for each service category, with the total cost calculated across all line items plus an unanticipated tasks allowance of 5 percent of the subtotal.
The maximum contract value is capped at $500,000.00. All quoted rates must be all-inclusive, incorporating operating expenses, labor, taxes, insurance, overhead, certifications, equipment, supplies, annual inflation adjustments, profit margin, software, permits, licenses, shipping and handling, and any other necessary costs to perform qualified services. The rates submitted by the bidder remain effective from the time of award throughout the entire contract duration, including any extensions, which will be billed at the rates stated for the final budget period if multiple budget periods exist. Bidders must certify the accuracy of their pricing and confirm their understanding of all contract requirements and terms and conditions. By submission, bidders acknowledge that their bid response will become a public document subject to public inspection.
