About this file
This document is a Salient Characteristics specification for High Power Direct Current Electronic Loads for the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane. The specification details comprehensive technical requirements for electronic load units with a power range of 0-10kW, voltage range of 0-600V, and current range of 0-700A. Key requirements include remote and manual control capabilities via Ethernet and front panel, adjustable protection features for overvoltage, overcurrent, and overpower scenarios, and the ability to be paralleled with up to 4 identical units. Additional specifications mandate rack-mountable design (19" server rack, no taller than 7U), air cooling, weight under 160 lbs, and precise output accuracy parameters for voltage, current, and power, with automatic cooling fans and temperature protection.
