About this file
This document is a Salient Characteristic specification for a TLC Motherboard (Part Number: PRIMEZ790M-PLUS) for a Department of the Navy solicitation. The specification details precise technical requirements for a motherboard, including compatibility with an Intel LGA1700 socket supporting a 13th generation i9-13900k CPU, utilizing either Z790 or B760 chipsets. Key technical requirements include: ATX preferred form factor (mATX or eATX acceptable), mandatory DDR5 RAM support for 4 modules, two PCI-e expansion slots (one x16 and one x4), minimum of 3 non-USB-C ports and 1 audio port, and thermal design capable of continuous air cooling. Multiple manufacturers are listed as potentially acceptable, including ASUS, MSI, and ASROCK, with specific part numbers noted. The motherboard must include a BIOS with Intel microcode 0x129 or newer, and wireless technology ports are explicitly prohibited.
