About this file
This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) Attachment D for Electronic Data Processing Equipment Insurance issued by Florida's Department of Management Services, Solicitation No. 25-84131512-ITB. The document modifies the standard enterprise contract terms and conditions, specifically removing multiple sections related to transportation, delivery, packaging, installation, and other standard contract provisions. The contract appears to be a state term contract that will establish insurance coverage for electronic data processing equipment, with an initial term beginning on a date specified in the contract and potential for renewal upon mutual written agreement between the department and the contractor.
The document defines key terms such as "Customer" (agencies or eligible users included on the insurance policy) and "State Term Contract" (a competitively procured term contract used by agencies and eligible users). Notably, customers other than the Department are prohibited from amending or modifying the contract or insurance policy terms. The contract is governed by Florida Statutes, specifically sections 287.012, 287.056, and 287.057, and is designed to provide a standardized insurance offering for electronic data processing equipment across eligible Florida state agencies and users.
