About this file
This is Addendum #3 issued by Henry County Purchasing Department for RFP #25-33 "Purchase, Installation, and Maintenance of Cashless Fares Software and Equipment." Due to inclement weather concerns, the bid due date has been extended from January 24, 2025 to January 31, 2025 at 3:00 PM. The schedule of events includes a deadline for clarifications and questions of December 27, 2024, with the first addendum posted on January 3, 2025.
The addendum clarifies several equipment requirements, including that handheld validators are optional but mounted validators are preferred for all vehicles. Specifically, one mounted validator will be needed for fixed route service and thirty-three mounts are needed for the current fleet. The county currently has no fixed route vehicles but will have one new vehicle and two existing vehicles for future fixed route service. The current fleet consists of Ford Cutaway buses used for paratransit/demand response services.
