About this file
This is Addendum #1 for the 25-2571 Wastewater Plant Improvements - White Road Construction project, issued by the Muskegon County Board of Public Works on March 10, 2025. The addendum provides key bidding information for the White Road Crush and Shape project, specifically noting that bids are due no later than Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM through the electronic Bidnet system. The document clarifies two critical points for potential contractors: first, water from the outlet ditch (which contains effluent from the wastewater treatment process) may be used for dust and moisture control, subject to local, state, and federal requirements; and second, work may not commence earlier than June 16, 2025.
The addendum does not include specific pricing details but emphasizes procedural requirements for bid submission. Contractors are warned that failure to acknowledge this addendum on the Addenda Summary could result in bid rejection, and no late bid responses will be accepted. The project appears to be a road reconstruction effort involving approximately 1.7 miles of roadway within the Muskegon County Resource Recovery Center, with work including crush and shape, trenching, road-widening, paving, and restoration. The document is signed by Angela Gasiewski, CPA, Director of Finance, and includes a technical clarification from Steve Taplin, P.E.
