About this file

This document is Addendum #1 for a Sheriff Patrol Vessel procurement issued by Muskegon County's Department of Finance & Management for solicitation PLQ 25-2563. The addendum provides clarification on bid specifications and confirms critical procurement details, including a bid submission deadline of 10:00 AM on November 12, 2024. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Bidnet system, with respondents responsible for ensuring timely submission. No late bid responses will be accepted.

The addendum addresses several technical questions from potential bidders, specifically confirming that no radar is required for the patrol vessel, and specifying documentation requirements such as a completed build sheet and electrical system schematics. The county explicitly states they will not consider alternative proposals, such as an all-electric vessel with different specifications. The procurement is for a specific patrol vessel that must meet U.S. Coast Guard, National Marine Manufacturers Association, and American Boat and Yacht Council regulations, as well as State of Michigan boating standards.
