About this file
Addendum #1 for CCPS Bid 25-10 is a document issued by Cecil County Public Schools' Purchasing Office on April 11, 2025, addressing questions related to the Driver's Education Classroom Instruction procurement. The addendum clarifies two key points: first, that all instruction must be conducted in-person, with only make-up sessions potentially occurring remotely due to inclement weather or school closures, and second, directing potential bidders to page 36 of the bid package for estimated student participation numbers across the district's five high schools. The document provides a standard acknowledgment section for bidders to confirm receipt of the addendum and requires signatures for proposal submission.
The addendum does not introduce new pricing information, set-asides, or funding details, but serves to provide clarification on instructional delivery methods and student volume expectations. By explicitly stating that online or self-paced delivery methods are not acceptable, the school district emphasizes its preference for traditional, in-person classroom instruction for driver's education. The document maintains the original procurement's focus on securing Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) licensed and certified instructors to provide comprehensive driver education programs across Cecil County's high schools, with the bid process structured to evaluate vendors' ability to meet these specific instructional requirements.
