About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for Solicitation #24WS0035 from the Veterans Home of West LA regarding Temporary/Relief Pharmacy Technician Registry Services. The solicitation seeks to establish one contract for pharmacy technician services with shifts running Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm. While multiple pharmacists may be utilized over the course of the contract, only one pharmacist will typically be needed per shift/day.
The solicitation is exclusively limited to certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) vendors, with no ability for non-DVBE vendors to submit bids. There are currently no incumbent vendors providing these services. The solicitation specifies that overtime pay will not be provided for work beyond 8 hours per day, and the California Industrial Welfare Commission's Wage Order No. 4-2001 will not be followed. Additionally, there are no small business subcontracting incentives available, as the solicitation requires the primary contractor to be a certified DVBE.
