About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought for high gain antennas for a Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) application. The RFI provides detailed electrical, environmental, and documentation requirements for three bands of directional antennas covering low (433/915 MHz), mid (2.4 GHz), and high (5.8 GHz) frequency ranges. Key requirements include minimum gain values, VSWR, power handling, and rugged construction to withstand environmental conditions. The government is seeking industry feedback on the feasibility of the stated requirements and is not requesting proposals at this time. Responses should include company information, relevant capabilities and past performance, data/certification requirements, and any recommendations to improve the Navy's approach. The RFI closes on May 13, 2024, and the government anticipates issuing a draft RFP in Q4 FY24 with a period of performance crossing FY23-FY24.

Gain Patterns and Table of Gain Values Graphical depictions for Range 1 are depicted below, and values in table format for all three ranges (Range 1, Range 2, and Range 3) are listed following the figures.

NOTE: The gain depicted in the figures below are an omnidirectional antenna pattern; however, the relevant values are the quadrant from -5° (355°) to 90°.
