Performance Work Statement for Custodial Service at Jonathan Dickinson Missile Tracking Annex (JDMTA)
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment (mops, buckets, brooms, and buffer) materials, supplies, transportation, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform custodial services to present a clean, neat and professional appearance at Jonathan Dickinson Missile Tracking Annex (JDMTA), Facility 28001, located near Jupiter, Florida; in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws and base policies. All services performed must meet the prescribed standards stated below.
Facility 28001: 2,117 SF (Category 1, admin/computer/technical/hallways/break rooms)
Facility 28001: 314 SF (Category 2, restrooms/empty trash containers)
Services to be performed are as follows:
Category 1: (Frequency of Service - Every two weeks)
1. Maintain Floors. (Once every two weeks) All floors, except carpeted areas, shall be swept, dust mopped, damp mopped, wet mopped, buffed, scrubbed, sealed, stripped and waxed, as needed, to ensure they have a uniform appearance and freedom from dirt, debris, dust, scuff marks, heel marks, wax build up, other stains and discoloration, and other foreign matter. Baseboards, corners, and wall/floor edges shall also be clean. A non-skid wax is required. All floor maintenance solutions shall be removed from baseboards, walls, furniture, trash receptacles, and carpeted areas. The contractor is not responsible for moving any desks or office machinery (i.e. shredders, printers, and computers) regardless of weight.
2. Public Ash Trays and Urns. (Once a week) The contractor shall empty all public ashtray urns/containers, replace sand as required, and clean ashtrays/containers to remove ashes, debris, odors, and stains.

3. Clean Drinking Fountains. (Once a week) Clean and disinfect all porcelain and polished metal surfaces, including the orifices and drain, as well as exterior surfaces of fountain. Drinking fountains shall be free of streaks, stains, spots, smudges, scale, and other obvious soil.
4. Vacuum Carpets. (Twice a month) Vacuum carpeted areas. Carpeted area shall be free of all visible dirt, debris, litter and other foreign matter. Easily moveable items such as chairs and trash cans shall be moved to vacuum underneath. Any spots shall be removed by carpet manufacturer's approved methods as soon as noticed.
5. Breakroom Cleaning. (Once a week) Trash shall be removed during normal duty hours. The contractor is not required to clean dishes, flatware, or glassware left by using organization, nor the interior of microwaves, refrigerators or other kitchen appliances. The contractor is required to provide and replenish all consumable items (liquid hand soap and paper products) in installed dispensers. Sink shall be cleaned and be free of streaks, stains, spots, smudges and scale.
Category 2 (Restrooms Frequency of Service - Twice per week).
1. Clean and Disinfect Surfaces. Clean and disinfect all surfaces. After cleaning, all surfaces shall be free of deposits, dirt, streaks, mold, mildew, and odors.
2. Showers, Toilet Bowls and Urinals. Descaling shall be performed to keep areas free of scale, soap films, and other deposits. After descaling, surfaces shall be free from streaks, stains, scale, scum, urine deposits, rust stains, and other deposits.
3. Sweep and Mop Floor. After sweeping and mopping, the entire floor surface, including grout, shall be free from litter, dirt, dust and debris. Grout on wall and floor tiles shall be free of dirt, scum, mildew, mold, and residue. Floors shall have a uniform appearance free of detergent residue, or any evidence of soil, stain, film or standing water. Floors shall be stripped, scrubbed, and waxed once every 6 months.
4. Stock Restroom Supplies. The contractor shall ensure restrooms are stocked sufficiently so that supplies, including soap for the soap dispensers, do not run out.
Supplies shall be stored in designated areas. The contractor is required to provide and replenish all consumable items (liquid hand soap and paper products) in installed dispensers. The contractor is not responsible for replenishing shampoo or other personal care products.

The contractor ls not responsible for replacing any personal soap dispensers. Trash cans shall be moved to vacuum underneath. Any spots shall be removed by carpet manufacturer’s approved methods as soon as noticed.
5. Trash Removal. All trash shall be collected and disposed of in the nearest designated dumpster. Trash receptacles shall be emptied and kept clean, free of dirt, stains, debris, foreign matter, odors, and returned to their initial location. Plastic liners for all trash receptacles shall not be torn, worn, or contain residue. The contractor is not responsible for picking up recyclable materials from designated recyclable material bins.
If recyclable materials are found in any trash cans it will be considered trash and shall be removed by the contractor. Fine security shedding (less than%" x 1") is considered trash. Strip shredding {larger than %" x 1") is recyclable. The contractor is not responsible for emptying shredders.
