About this file
This document is a Brand Name or Equal specification for a Leica AT960LR laser tracker with T-Probe and stylus kit. The key requirements are that the laser tracker must interface with Spatial Analyzer Ultimate software, have a maximum range of 80m, be able to auto-lock onto a spherically mounted retro-reflector at up to 60m, and measure "hidden points" with a 6-degree-of-freedom probe at up to 20m. The required accuracy specifications are provided for angular, distance, horizontal scale bar, and in-line distance measurements. This specification is attached to Solicitation Number N0016424Q0293 issued by the Naval Sea Systems Command for the procurement of one (1) Leica AT960-LR laser tracker, one (1) Leica T-Probe III, and one (1) T-Probe styli kit. The solicitation has an issue date of 07 AUG 2024 and a closing date of 14 AUG 2024 at 4:00 PM Eastern Time.

This is a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL IAW the below BRAND NAME LEICA AT960LR with T-Probe and Stylus Kit
Laser tracker (Leica AT960 LR with T-probe and stylus kit) must:
Be able interface with and be operated through Spatial Analyzer Ultimate over Ethernet connection, including providing a live camera feed to Spatial Analyzer
Have a maximum range for all measurements of 80m He the ability to auto-lock on to a target spherically mounted retro-reflector (SMR) at distances of up to 60m.
Have the capability to measure “hidden points” with a 6 degree-of-freedom probe (in the case of Leica, theirs is called a T-Probe) at distances of up to 20 meters. Probe attachment tool kit must include (at bare minimum) a 0.1 mm scribe stylus tip, 3mm ruby stylus tip, 1.5in. ceramic stylus and a 200mm stylus extension (other attachments are also helpful)
Meet the following accuracy specifications (Maximum Permissible Error), or better, at a distance of 20m using a standard SMR. Accuracy here is referring to interferometer accuracy if applicable, otherwise absolute distance meter accuracy. NOTE: You might not find these accuracies directly in the data sheets, some of them must be calculated by hand from the accuracy curve equations provided by the manufacturer.
o Angular: ± 135 µm o Distance: ± 6.4 µm o Horizontal scale bar: ± 191 µm o In-Line Distance: ± 5 µm
