Palo Alto onsite Network support to replace current firewall with Palo Alto firewall solution. Palo Alto will assist with onsite support for the configuration conversions. The onsite service should take one week to one month depending on what is needed according to the Palo Alto support team. We (SWRMC IT Dept.) are procuring 2 weeks plus 3 additional on-site days of service for any troubleshooting and or any errors. After Cisco configurations are converted, cutover and installed on Palo Alto PA3410 we will install on our live network and test all traffic as well as scanning to new device. We will remove the current Firewall (Cisco ASA 5545X) from the network with the installation of the Palo Alto PA4310. All steps are dependent on procuring Onsite Support from Palo Alto.

SWRMC supports the U.S. Navy fleet with ship maintenance, modernization, and technical support. This is a direct replacement of Firewalls but with different vendors because of better security and more functionality. Palo Alto is a professionally developed cloud-based threat analysis service is the industry’s most advanced analysis and prevention engine for highly evasive zero-day exploits and malware. The cloud-based service employs a unique multi-technique approach combining dynamic and static analysis, innovative machine learning techniques, and a groundbreaking bare metal analysis environment to detect and prevent even the most evasive threats.
