- 6” tube will be encapsulated with 0.125 thick 5052 marine grade aluminum shell
(Figure 8)
- Encapsulation will start at 9” high on the outer wall and slope to a height of 7” on the outside of the extension tube. The top of the encapsulation will angle from the 9” to 7” portion, creating an angled top from the tank wall to the inside of the tank (Figure 10).
- The 6” aluminum tube will run on the inside of the rear tanks, butting up against the outer wall.
- Space between tube and shell will be filled with polystyrene closed cell foam prior to encapsulation.
- The 6” tube will then be attached to a 6” male camLoc at the back of the truck for discharging.
b. All tanks will drain through a 6” male camLoc (picture, Figure 9).
c. Fabricator will provide female CamLok caps for all male camlocks (4).
d. Caps shall be attached to the rear tank wall with a cable to prevent loss when not locked onto the drain pipe.
e. Fabricator will also provide 1 (one) assembled 6” x 5’ long smooth inner walled corrugated pipe with attached female CamLok fittings to connect to the male cam loks for discharging fish.
7. Slide Gates, camlocs, caps (Figure 9 and 11)
a. Six (6) 8” x 8” slide gates will be installed to prevent discharge of water and fish when camloc caps are not in place (Figure 9).
b. All gates will be manufactured out of aluminum and stainless steel rods will be used for sliding the gates up and down.
c. Slide gates will be installed at the front and back of the 6” extension pipe. The front gate will be installed next to outside wall between the front and back tank and the second slide gate will be installed at the back of the truck, prior to the 6” male camloc (figure 9)
