About this file

This document is Addendum No. 2 to the Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 24AQP002 REBID issued by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for "California Aircraft Temperature and Ozone Soundings in Bakersfield." The addendum modifies the insurance requirements in the original IFB, specifically revising the minimum aircraft liability coverage from $5,000,000 to $1,500,000 per accident. All other IFB information remains unchanged. The IFB seeks a contractor to conduct daily flights seven days a week, except during March, April, and May when flights are required five days a week, to record air temperature readings at 500-foot intervals up to 5,000 feet above ground at the Bakersfield Meadows Field Airfield. The flights will also include the collection of ozone data up to 7,500 feet above ground.

The insurance changes outlined in this addendum are the only revisions to the original IFB. The contract term, funding sources, and other salient details remain as stated in the original IFB document. Interested parties are encouraged to register online at the California eProcure website to receive any further addenda that may be issued.
