The vessel will accommodate a crew of 3-4 staff, allowing space for a large livewell that can hold sturgeon up to about 6ft. in length, with ample deck space to hold gear such as anchors, setlines, and miscellaneous gear. A cabin is also needed for protection from the elements when working in adverse weather conditions.

ODFW has authority pursuant to ORS 496.146(11) to issue this ITB and enter into the resulting Purchase Order.

The White Sturgeon Program studies and manages White Sturgeon populations within the Columbia River Basin, this boat will be used upstream of Bonneville Dam . The Program’s work provides a framework to manage and conserve the species, ensuring a viable and productive population well into the future, while providing sustainable harvest opportunities and other societal benefits. The Program’s research also benefit White Sturgeon populations and future management efforts in the greater Columbia River Basin by exemplifying an approach to assessing and monitoring the long-term population viability of this long-lived species. ODFW works on this program collaboratively with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission.

Contractor may not retaliate against an employee who discusses the employee’s rate of wage, salary, benefits, or other compensation with another employee or another person.

The policy and practice must include giving employees a written notice of a policy that both prohibits, and prescribes disciplinary measures for, conduct constituting sexual harassment, sexual assault, or unlawful discrimination.
