About this file
This addendum document, issued by Kenosha County, Wisconsin, modifies RFP #2409 for the Courthouse South Entrance Ramp Replacement Project Design. The addendum, dated April 15, 2024, clarifies project scope by requiring additional design work for drainage along the south entrance doors of the Kenosha County Courthouse. The drainage design shall include installation of channel grates or trench drains positioned in front of the doors. Additionally, the design must incorporate a temporary handicap accessible ramp to facilitate access during the construction period.
The addendum represents a revision to the original project parameters, which included a $250,000 total budget for design and construction management services with an expectation that concept design and cost estimates be completed within six weeks of contract award. This modification ensures that drainage solutions and temporary accessibility provisions are integrated into the overall design scope, addressing water management concerns at the south entrance while maintaining compliance with accessibility requirements during the construction phase.
