About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file related to Request for Proposal (RFP) 24-SWU15 issued by the City of Sun Prairie Department of Public Works for the Stormwater Native Vegetation Installation project. The RFP solicits proposals from qualified vendors for the installation and maintenance of native vegetation. The Q&A addresses several key points, including the use of subcontractors, the ability to partner with Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), the availability of a water refill facility, and the potential need for the City to approve alternative methods for ground preparation. The related state and local contract opportunity is located in the state of Wisconsin.
The Q&A clarifies that the selected vendor may use subcontractors and partner with a DBE, though the latter will not receive credit in the RFP scoring process. It also confirms the availability of a water refill facility and the City's willingness to approve alternative ground preparation methods, if necessary. The responses aim to provide vendors with the information they need to prepare their proposals for this project.
