This document is an Addendum for Bid #24-43, Replacement Flooring at Henry County Police Headquarters, issued by the Henry County Purchasing Department. The bid is for the replacement of flooring at the Henry County Police Headquarters, with the due date for bids set for July 9, 2024, at 3:00 PM. The addendum addresses various questions and answers related to the project, including the availability of storage space, the use of roll-off dumpsters, the existing floor conditions, the use of demolition equipment, and the bid submission process. It also clarifies that electronic bid submissions are not allowed and provides guidance on the type of binding required for the bid proposal.

The addendum further addresses the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements, indicating that the DBE goal can be met through prime contracting, subcontracting, joint ventures, or mentor-protégé relationships, and that a description of Good Faith Efforts is required. The approximate award and project start dates are to be determined, and the contractor is expected to work Monday through Friday, with the potential for weekend or evening work in the Records Division.
