About this file
This document is a Sole Source Justification for the procurement of a left side roller door assembly, Part #: A1DIV001.738, for the PAMA Speedram 1000HP machines (SU-23 and SU-24) used by the Naval Foundry & Propeller Center (NFPC).
The total estimated value of the requirement is $77,280. NFPC requires this part from the original equipment manufacturer, PAMA Incorporated (CAGE: 7BU28), as it is specifically designed for and integrated with the PAMA machines, which are critical to NFPC's manufacturing process for Navy propellers. Using unspecified parts would void the machine warranties and potentially damage the equipment, causing significant delays and increased costs. Market research confirmed PAMA is the sole manufacturer of this proprietary part.
