• The Bid Proposal (Section 00 0310) is being reissued with this Addendum.

Responses to Vendor's Questions:

1. Question: What type of decking substrate?

Response: The substrate for the Filter Building is a precast concrete deck. The substrate for the Fort Gordon Pump Station Building is metal roof decking.

2. Question: On the HAWTP Filter Building Roof Replacement, our calculations show the roof is approximately 25,000 square feet. Please verify square footage.

Response: The Bid Schedule is correct.

3. Question: On the Fort Gordon Pump Station Building our calculations show the roof is approximately 5,000 square feet. Please verify square footage.

Response: The Bid Schedule is correct.

4. Question: Is the decking sloped or does it require tapered insulation?

Response: The Filter Building deck is flat and will require tapered insulation. The Fort Gordon Pumping Station Building is slope@ ¼" / foot and does not require tapered insulation.

5. Question: Bid Specs-Part 2-Products. 2.2 A TPO is specified. Is DURO-LAST an approved equivalent using 60 mil PVC membrane? -PVC is more durable, weather resistant, fire resistance and non-reactive to most chemical.

Response: A PVC membrane is acceptable.

6. Question: Can the liquidated damages be waived on this project or the calendar days be extended to 240 calendar days to complete? We don't feel like the roof can be completed in the 120 days as listed in the specifications.
