About this file
This is a Solicitation Addendum No. 1 issued by the Beaverton School District's Business Services Procurement and Contracting office for ITB 24-0022 concerning renovation work at Highland Park Middle School involving the creation of a new conference room and construction of walls. The addendum modifies the original invitation to bid and clarifies project specifications, including revised drawings that address low voltage cable removal and retention, new conduit installation above the ceiling, and photographic documentation of cable removal in the library office. The project encompasses three areas requiring painting updates: the accordion wall area (new wall surfaces only), the new library conference space (ceiling, walls, and door/window frames), and additional work areas. The addendum clarifies that salvageable doors and windows will be reused if they meet condition standards and proper swing specifications, contingent on confirmation from Beaverton School District regarding salvage condition. The district will remove all furniture and equipment prior to construction commencement. The bid closing date is March 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM Pacific Time, and bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum on the Bidder Certification form to avoid bid rejection.
The addendum does not specify pricing information, set-asides, or funding sources. All bidders must comply with the clarifications and modifications outlined in the addendum, particularly regarding electrical work specifications shown in the revised drawings (E-200 Overall Floor Plan, E-210 Enlarged Electrical Plans, and E-400 Electrical Details). The successful contractor will be responsible for contract abatement in both project spaces. Failure to acknowledge receipt of this addendum may result in offer rejection.
