About this file
This document is a response to offerors' questions for RFP #23RFP8827 issued by the South Dakota Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (SDWF) for the Alabaugh Fuels Reduction Project. The RFP solicits proposals from qualified contractors to perform hazardous fuels reduction treatment on approximately 53.8 acres of property located near Hot Springs, SD. Contractors may submit inquiries by email, with the final deadline being the date indicated in the Schedule of Activities. SDWF will respond to inquiries via email and inform all contractors. The RFP states that contractors may not rely on any other statements that alter the specifications or terms of the RFP, and contractors will be notified of any modifications to the RFP in the same manner.
The RFP provides details on the electronic signature requirements for the proposal submission. If submitting electronically, the proposal must be signed via DocuSign or Adobe, which will provide an audit report. Alternatively, the proposal can be printed, signed in ink, and then scanned for electronic submission. The RFP does not include information on pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or other salient details.

Response to Offerors Questions 23RFP8827
Question: If we choose to email the proposal to the email mentioned in the RPF must the proposal be signed digitally or can this be a scanned copy of an ink signature?
Answer: If you are going to do an electronic signature it will need to be signed via docusign or adobe where it has the audit report with it. Otherwise you can print it, sign it and scan it back into your proposal for submission.
