STATEMENT OF WORK FOR

SUPPORT SERVICES AND CALIBRATION OF MULTIPLE COORDINATE MEASURING MACHINES

(CMM’s)

1.0 SCOPE

1.1 Introduction

This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the tasks for support services, repair, replacement parts, and calibration of several coordinate measuring machines (CMM), calibration spheres, and related lab equipment. The support services shall be available and continuous through the year by the company on-call help (800) telephone number.

The contractor must be ISO 17025-2017 accredited through A2LA to be considered for contract award. The CMM calibration services will be required once per year. The calibration spheres calibration service will be needed as the Navy calibration lab requires or as manufacture recommends. The repair services will be needed for a case by case basis for equipment repairs. The Navy will require these calibration and repair services for the first (basic) year and have options for up to four (4) additional years.

1.1 Background

The Dispenser Design and Prototype Branch has a lab that has several measuring machines and other related equipment that requires support and calibration each year. The machines and equipment are made by various manufacturers and vary in age. The Navy uses the machines and equipment to support a variety of government programs and must maintain the equipment for continuous support to all programs.
