About this file
This is a Product Description (PD) for an Upgraded Warehouse Storage Solution to be delivered and installed at Hammond Air National Guard Station (ANGS), Building 3, in Hammond, Louisiana. The contractor must furnish, deliver, and install a complete warehouse storage system consisting of 32 mobile storage units and 4 relocatable storage units, including all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, installation, testing, cleanup, and warranty. The objective is to upgrade the 236 Combat Communications Squadron (CBCS) warehouse storage capability to accommodate evolving mission sets and Unit Type Code (UTC) equipment footprints, as the existing storage configuration is inadequate for current operational equipment storage requirements.
The contractor shall deliver and install the system within a specified number of calendar days after award (the exact duration is blank in the document). Normal access hours are Tuesday through Friday, 0800 to 1600, excluding Federal holidays. The system must be installed without blocking exits, fire protection equipment, electrical panels, communications equipment, or required access routes. The contractor must field-verify dimensions and installation conditions before final placement, test and demonstrate system functionality after installation, remove all packaging and debris, and provide closeout documentation including warranty information and basic user instructions. Standard commercial warranty coverage is required for a minimum of one year unless a longer manufacturer warranty applies. The Government will provide access instructions and a point of contact for coordination after award and will inspect the system for conformance with the PD and approved product data before final acceptance.
