1. Contracting Activity.
The Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC CR) Spectrum Contracting Division, Expeditionary and Electronic Warfare Contracts Branch, Code 0242.
2. Description of the Action Being Approved.
Award of a five (5) year Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) commercial contract on a sole source basis to G3 Technologies, Inc., 10280 Old Columbia Road Suite 260, Columbia, Maryland 21046, for the procurement of sustainment, maintenance, upgrades, and technology enhancement requirements of the Pacer Test Cellular Systems in support of Program Management Support (PMS)-408 to include Joint Counter-Radio controlled improvised explosive device Electronic Warfare (JCREW) and Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS), and United States Marine Corp (USMC) CREW and C-UAS Systems.
3. Description of Supplies/Services.
Supplies and services to be procured include: the purchase of repair parts and/or repairs services to support existing Pacer Test Cellular Systems located at NSWC Crane and the Lake Glendora Test Facility (LGTF), upgrades to these systems, maintenance agreements, training, on-site operational support and engineering services on these systems.
The Test Cellular systems are used to provide commercial cellular signals to ensure CREW and JCREW systems work properly in commercial cellular environments. The Test Cellular system is comprised of commercial Base Transceiver Stations (BTS’s) otherwise known as evolved Node B (eNode B) and a custom backhaul designed for small cellular system implementation. This allows the system to create a commercial cellular Radio Frequency environment without the significant investment required for a backhaul.
Supplies to be procured will consist of purchasing replacement units such as radio heads, Network Time Protocol Units, and computers required to repair the system and/or expand its capabilities by adding 5G and 6G capabilities, and Internet of Things (IoT) as they are developed by industry.
