About this file
The document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Cisco equipment solicitation by the Department of the Air Force Space Command. The solicitation (Number 21CONSCISCO) seeks Cisco networking equipment, specifically switches, with detailed specifications being clarified through vendor interactions. Key product discussions include the Cisco C9300X-12Y switch with 12-port configuration, DNA Advantage 5-year licensing, and network modules (specifically C9300X-NM-8Y). Vendors are addressing technical details such as power supplies, licensing configurations, and component compatibility, with the government confirming preferences for specific part numbers and configurations.
The Q&A reveals the solicitation will be an open market opportunity on SAM.gov, with vendors who are Cisco Premier Partners and US Federal Authorized resellers eligible to submit quotes. Specific technical clarifications were made regarding part numbers, including adjustments to network licenses (C9300-NW-A-12), confirmation of 5-year DNA Advantage licensing, declining a second power supply, and selecting a specific network module. The opportunity appears to be focused on providing networking infrastructure components for the Air Force Space Command's specific technological requirements.

USSC Cisco Requirement Q&A
Q: There is a reference to SEWP on your BOM - Would like a SEWP quote in lieu of an Open Market Quote?
Q: On the product list, NASA SEWP is listed, is that a requirement or can another contract vehicle be used i.e., GSA?
A: The BOM has been updated and the SEWP language has been removed. It Was determined through market research that this should be solicited on SAM.gov as an open market opportunity.
We are Cisco Premier Partners & US Federal Authorized. We are interested in submitting a quote for this opportunity.
The below part numbers that are requested do not match with the description provided.
| GLC-SX-MMD-AO-5PK |

I am working on a quote response to the subject RFQ, and I have some questions/concerns about the BOM provided.
· Will this equipment be covered by GEMSS?
· The full part number for C9300X-12Y w/ DNA Advantage is C9300X-12Y-A.
· GLC-SX-MMD-AO-5PK is a 3rd party SFP that is compatible with Cisco equipment, however, sometimes those can void the warranty, but will be cheaper than the Cisco equivalent. Please confirm if you still want to proceed with it or switch to the Cisco equivalent.
· AP9891 is not a Cisco part number. I can quote you CP-PWR-CORD-NA= which is mentioned in the description.
· Lastly, there are a bunch of $0 part numbers not provided that are required for the configurations or may have changed part numbers over time.
I was reviewing the BOM that you have out for the USSC opportunity that is on the SAM.GOV website.
