Repair of 25KW Generac Generator for Vessel Traffic Center MSU Port Arthur

Work Statement Five years ago, the 25KW Generac Generator was procured to be the main power source for the Vessel Traffic Center Neches River Intersection Radar Site at 9100 Old Ferry Road Port Arthur. Due to normal wear and tear, and rodents chewing on the wiring, it is imperative that the bottom of the generator be secured to prevent further rodents from easily accessing the generator wiring system.

The contact person for this contract is John Moore, CIV, Electronic Materials Officer @ (409) 719-5082 Scope of Supplies/Services The contractor shall furnish trained personnel, all tools or equipment and material necessary to complete repair on the 25KW Generac Generator located at 9100 Old Ferry Road, Port Arthur, TX. Additionally, all parts and maintenance shall be properly adjusted and tested for proper operation before installation is considered complete.

(1) Replace emergency Generator Stator and Rotor.

(2) Install Aluminum Plate to close bottom of generator.

(3) Load Test unit to ensure working properly.

(4) Adjusting/aligning all moving components.

Contractor Performance Requirements

(1) Repair shall be scheduled a minimum of one week in advance and work is to be performed during USCG scheduled work hours: Monday through Friday 0730-1600.

(2) Contractor will assign personnel who are:

a. Physically able to perform the assigned work.

b. Free from any communicable disease, competent, physically fit, careful and cooperative.

c. Capable of understanding basic directions in case of emergency situations.
