About this file
This document provides details for a federal contract opportunity to procure portable fire suppression systems for tension fabric hangar spaces at Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division locations in China Lake, CA and Point Mugu, CA. The Navy intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract with one option year to Safespill Systems LLC as a sole-source procurement. The requirements include portable, stand-alone systems that use water instead of AFFF and do not require permanent installation or connections to water lines. The systems must provide fire suppression for dimensions up to 150' x 90' x 47' with 25' sidewalls and include an operator control panel. Interested parties could submit written responses by August 19, 2020 detailing their capabilities, but the document identifies Safespill as the only source that can meet requirements without compromising quality, reliability or schedule. The solicitation will be posted on beta.SAM.gov on or after August 19, 2020.
