Certified Destruction

The Contractor is required to supply, within thirty (30) days from a pick-up, a certified document stating that the thirty-five (35) yard container was taken to a facility that will be recycled per the below procedure.

When the compactor is full, a call is placed to the Customer Service Department and a service request is entered. The full compactor is replaced with an empty one, and the full compactor is transported to the Contractor’s disposal site. At the plant, the compactor is dumped onto a tipping floor and pushed onto a conveyor belt. The conveyor belt transfers the paper to the shredder that processes the material and feeds it into a baler. The baled material is shipped to a consuming mill that pulps the shredded paper, which is then remanufactured into a variety of paper products.

The unit priced costs for this work are to be billed monthly per instructions in the order award. The amount of debris removed will depend upon the size of the compactor and amount of pick-ups. All equipment, supplies and resources to complete this job and maintain it until the end of this order will be supplied by the Contractor. Upon termination of the order, the Contractor shall remove all of the installed fixtures associated with the operation of the compactor, leaving the site in the condition received at inception.
