Commercial Real Estate Data Solicitation
B - Price/Cost Schedule
If a contractor does not break out pricing into the individual elements indicated (CLIN0001 - Historical, CLIN0002 - Scenario, CLIN0003 - Written). is it acceptable for Vendor to collapse all CLINS into a single line item and provide pricing that way?
The OCC does not intend to change the CLIN structure. However, if the quoters cannot seperately price CLINs X002 and X003 and need to wrap up the total price in CLINs X001, please state in the price quote how the firm fixed price in CLINs X001 includes the the required data and services for CLINs X002 and X003.

2.1.8 and
2.1.9 9, 10
In sections 2.1.8 and 2.1.9, what is the distinction between the variables, "Occupancy Rate" and "Room Demand"? Our understanding is that Demand and Occupancy are typically the same in terms of CRE.
Sections 2.1.8 and 2.1.9 include the terms "occupancy rate" and "room demand." Occupancy rate is generally defined by the industry as the number of occupied rooms divided by the supply of rooms available for use, in percentage terms. Room demand is generally defined by the industry as the number of occupied rooms, in terms of units.
Commercial Real Estate Data Solicitation
3.1.7 12
Regarding Section 3.1.7-Data Usage, could the OCC elaborate on what sort of format/scope and purpose licensed users would require to distribute the data? Would this be for insubstantial portions of the data, or derived content based on the contractor's data?
Section 3.1.7.1 states that the OCC shall be authorized to distribute "the results of analysis or research (not raw data) using the contractor's CRE data to all other employees of the OCC regardless of location." As stated in this section, licensed OCC personnel will not distribute raw data within the OCC to non-licensed OCC personnel. Rather, licensed OCC personnel will use the contractor's CRE data to conduct analysis or research of CRE market conditions, and the results of such analysis or research will be shared within the OCC to non-licensed OCC personnel so that those personnel can carry out the functions of bank supervision with regard to bank loans associated with commercial real estate. Analysis and research are content derivesd from the raw data provided by the contractor and usually take the form of charts or tables within PowerPoint slides, written memos, or published academic papers. Section 3.1.7.2 states that OCC employees with a license shall be authorized to "publicly disseminate results of research or analysis (in summary form) using the contractor's CRE data." By stating "in summary form", it can be understood that no raw data will be publicly disseminated. Analysis and research are content derivesd from the raw data provided by the contractor and usually take the form of charts or tables within PowerPoint slides, written memos, or published academic papers. OCC personnel frequently provide results of analysis and research via PowerPoint presentations with banking industry personnel.
Academic research is often published in public academic journals. As noted in section 3.1.7.2, the OCC shall cite the contractor as the source of the raw data used in the analysis or research in all publicly disseminated written products.
We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services.
If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?
This is a recompete for contract 2031JW18C00012.
